Hello, I'm Jessica. I'm an Ojibwe writer, enrolled in the Sagkeeng First Nation. I have lived in Minnesota nearly my whole life. As a young girl, I soaked up books like my soul was thirsty. I still read as much as I can and I balance it with my writing. My bookshelf now includes the Kindle app on my phone, which is somewhat less satisfying than regular books but more portable.
