I can't believe it's already the end of April! Where I live the grass is starting to get green and things are starting to grow. I've started the querying process on Soul of the Silver Tree. I've already gotten some rejections, so I'm slowing down so I can go back and make sure my query package is as well-written as it can be. I'm excited to see where this new road takes me.
I also have a new novel that I've started writing. I have my scene list and I'm working through it. When I was writing Soul of the Silver Tree, my goal was to write about five scenes per week. With this new novel (tentatively titled Honest the Brave), I'm doing Camp NaNoWriMo, so my goal is more word count-oriented. I've already reached my word count goal for Camp. Maybe when April is over I'll go back to scene-oriented goals, which seems to work better for me. I hope your April showers bring lots of May flowers.
